Marlin is one of several species of big fish. This fish comes from a family Istiophoridae (order Perciformes) which has an elongated body, nose, fins, backs and snout. Marlin is a carnivorous fish species that can be found in tropical and subtropical areas of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian near from the surface to a depth of 915 m (3,002 ft).
